We have a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to be Accountable for the successful planning and implementation of large scale, complex change and transition technology project. This role is UK based for 3 months initially with occasional travel as required this will be a large scale server and system migration and transformation and as such complex server exp is essential. Contact Centre knowledge would be advantageous.
ACCOUNTABILTIES & DELIVERABLES
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects in line with the agreed scope, objectives, and timeline
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and complete the agreed project initiation process
- Produce and maintain detailed project plans including activity plans and project timeline
- Lead and coordinate the activity of the project team, workstream leaders and subject matter experts
- Manage and track project spend against budget
- Track and report on project progress to stakeholders
- Report, track and manage project risks
- Identify and implement contingency actions to mitigate project risks
- Ensure issue escalation process implemented when required
- Implement effective project governance structure to manage delivery, track progress and resolve issues
- Build effective working relationships with project sponsor and stakeholders
- Completion of all project documentation in line with agreed project framework and approach
Essential
- Direct work experience as a technology project manager managind a data centre and server migration is essential.
- Experience of project managing complex technical change and transition projects – multiple internal/external/ Client stakeholders, multiple workstreams, multiple locations/ off shore
- Project Management qualification – MSP/Prince 2/ Agile / Lean Sigma or similar
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Contact Centre experience is preferred
- Willingness to travel as and when required to different sites
